Forbidden   City      

This "Forbidden City" - the Palace of Chinese Emperor -  was built in 1420. The biggest complex of its kind in the world. It occupies 720,000 square meters in the center of Beijing.      24 Ming & Qing Emperors resided here. If image that just 100 years ago, anybody went in by mistake would be killed immediately.                                                                                                                                Today it becomes a museum opening to visitors from the whole world. Did you know . . .

During ancient time, the dragon was the special symbol of the Emperor. His palace called "Dragon palace", his bed and chair called "Dragon bed and Dragon chair", even his cloth called "Dragon cloth".
